Man, did Coach Webb have some one-liners. 😂 After he stopped coaching, he was often officiating games. He carried his teaching mentality with him even wearing the stripes.

Just watched the podcast on You Tube and was not disappointed.  I lived close to Dale Mueller throughout his great run as Highlands head coach and I am pleased to say he is just as enthusiastic and upbeat about high school football now as he was when he was coaching.  It always impressed me that he was more about building young men than building football teams; he remains that today.  Thank you Dale, you continue to inspire.

1.  What are you looking to get out of 7 v 7 in the preseason?  Some don't even participate.  Some want to win the tournament.  As a coach, where do you stand on this?  Do you 100% go to these?  And if so, how many and which ones (big national ones or local tournaments or just get together with the school next door)?

2.  This is a similar question, but because you add the whole team is different.  What are you (as a coach) looking to get out of scrimmages before the season starts?  Why do you pick the type of scrimmage you do (10 plays each offense or game like)?  How do you prepare for it?  What's the biggest challenges you face getting it all going?  Do you schedule the hardest team you can find?  Someone in the middle or just a team looking for one like you?
