And just two short years ago these kids were pretty much written off.  Showed progress last year and it has continued.  Guess that is what happens when coaches teach them the game and how it is played

Cov Cath beat Conner 35-6.

The Colonels were up 28-0 at the half. Conner's touchdown came in the fourth quarter once Cov Cath had switched in backups...I believe Conner may have had their backups in at that point as well.

Not gonna lie, based on Cov Cath's 41-22 win over Simon Kenton and Highlands' 33-19 win over Cov Cath back in Week 1, I was expecting to see Highlands beat Simon Kenton by a decent bit more than 17 points.

Yeah you're right. Highlands had the ball inside the 10 yard line 2x and didn't score. They turned it over once on downs and another on a Interception I believe. They get 50! Maybe next time. On to the next opponent.

Well "if-then" logic is totally incompatible with sports in general, for ANY team, haha, so as much as you'd like to think you know what the outcome is gonna be before the game is played, it just isn't ever gonna completely happen that way.

Wasn't even that close.

Any word on the Ryle vs. Simon Kenton game?

Ryle won, just don’t know the score.

Beechwood did a pretty good job containing the Birds for about the 1st 15-1/2 minutes of the game and keeping the score to 0-0. And then the last 4-1/2 mins of the half, Highlands scored 21 points going into halftime. Highlands did miss the PAT on their 5th Touchdown to avoid the running Clock. With Subs early on in the 3rd, the clock never really ran.

How long until we see the response to this, saying that all the best freshman are playing varsity and JV, and if they were playing freshman ball, SK would be undefeated?

It would probably take about as long as it takes the people from a certain wealthy town in Campbell County to start blaming their offensive coordinator every time their team has a loss.

Point 1: The bolded has literally nothing to do with anything. Except possibly your jealousy, and or insecurity.

Point 2: The team you are referencing has high expectations. It is hard to argue against the fact that the OC has struggled; when push comes to shove and it's big game time, he hasn't performed. He has had an abundance of talent and has not delivered after being handed the keys to the sports car.
