I hate to use a first round pick comp, but he reminded me of Colston Loveland when we played Boyle. If Bama is offering then maybe it’s appropriate.

So smooth for being 6’6+ and wearing number 18.

Up to 6'7 now.

I believe he and Brock are Tony Driver's nephews.

  • Seneca up to 21 Div 1 offers that as of today includes Alabama.

Talking about 2 NFL guys is a pretty high ceiling.  He seems to have the athletic ability and work ethic.  Might depend on where he goes to college.  Some place that will help him reach his potential.

Alabama wasn't the only school that has offered Senaca this week.  Penn State has also made an offer.  Out of all the players that has went through the Boyle system I do not believe anyone has had this level of big time college interest as Senaca and he's just a Jr. this upcoming season.

Lamar Dawson did.

Dawson was a great athlete for sure. I think that the interest in Driver comes from his upside. Already 6'7" and very explosive and a sophomore to boot. Two more years to grow, mature and get stronger. Beast athlete for sure.

How good do you guys think this kid will be? Jacob Tamme or Michael Mayer level or will he surpass them?

I've watched this kids tape and I think he is the #1 TE in his class.  He has everything you are looking for in a TE and if he continues to put on weight and maintain the speed he is a every down TE that can put his hand in the dirt and block or widen out to run routes.  This kid is special.

6'7" 225 pounds, power cleaning 285 as a soph.  Work ethic will not be a problem.  Really excited to see this young man become a problem for opposing defenses over the next two seasons.

I have a question about offers to a sophomore/rising junior. Could he commit right now, to Notre Dame, for instance? Or does "offer" mean interest and they'll stay in touch over the next two years?

My guess is a player this highly recruited is a “take” at almost every school that offers as long as the academics check out.

Once you get into the 3 star/G5 range, that gets a little more tricky with commutable offers.

Boyle had their last spring practice at 6:30 this morning.  Ohio State was there and offered Seneca.  Lamar Dawson held offers from a LOT of big schools but I think it's safe to say that Mr. Driver is now the most sought after Rebel in the programs history.
