What if both happen to go to Catholic?

I didn't know there was 2 Hamptons.  Just knew of the RB who is committed to UK for baseball.

I'm a beloved OHS fan but if they leave we are going to hurt badly at RB and LB. Hopefully it's just a rumor. Catholic gets Both Hampton's they will have a RB that they need and another LB.

If they don't win 2-A with these transfers then I don't think it will ever happen. 

Beechwood has every single skill player back.  3 of the best 2A receivers in the state, one of the top returning running backs in 2A in the state and one of the top 4-5 QB’s in the entire state of Kentucky regardless of class. They have 4 starting OL/DL men returning and they are getting a 6’4” 270 lb transfer lineman who played at Moeller last year.  Their line will be the biggest and most athletic line they have had there in recent memory.  The only 2 games they lost last season was to 4A runner up Cov Cath in the last minute and then lost in the semis to the eventual state champ Mayfield 31 to 28.  I think the Atwell kid is an exceptional player and I am sure they have some other really good players but based on the information above I think there is a good possibility it may be a few more years for OC.

No way!  I like Mayfield and Owensboro Catholic at the top of 2A and then Beechwood and maybe LCA after that. 

Guru, you are a Beechwood guy.  Come on man!!!  Ha ha…..  I am not saying everyone else should mail it in but I am saying that Beechwood is loaded this season from top to bottom but as we all know anything can happen and that’s why they play the games.  I am looking forward to an exciting season.

You're right, I am a Beechwood guy/grad/fan but I also know both Mayfield and Owensboro Catholic made it further than the Tigers last year and both of those teams have a lot of very good players back. 

You know what they say about opinions.  Let the games begin.

I am with guru on this. We have some great looking teams at the top in 2A. Beechwood looks really good, but LCA has been everyone's favorite, looks unbeatable, etc. for how many years? And how many titles do they have? Going to be a really fun season in 2A.

I agree VoR, the bottom line is 2A should be a lot of fun this year. ?

Mayfield has a shot, like OC but until the QB situation gets sorted out then they will be a mild contender. Beechwood will be hard to beat but are they beatable? I think so.

Is Atwell leaving? Not sure what you mean by the QB situation? Catholic is a huge contender.
