Per Jason Frakes, the LIT this year will only have 16 teams. The field will be seeded based on SETH rankings, a ranking system created by former JCPS Director of Athletics, Jerry Wyman. Wyman retired from JCPS after the 2020-21 school year and then accepted a job the following year for Bullitt County Schools as their district-wide athletics coordinator.

Tournament will be held January 8-13, with the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals being hosted at Valley High School in Louisville.

Moore being in ahead of Louisville Holy Cross is a joke. Also, Butler should not be the #1 seed the Seth rankings are just so silly how it is calculated.

Current TP94 Ratings for 6&7th Regions. Only take in account games against 6th and 7th region opponents. Out of region games aren't counted. Not a lot of games so far so they will change a lot I think.

I do them myself. I started teams with last year's ratings. They use average margin of victory/loss against teams played then averages it to get rating. I update them each day unless no games were played between 6th and 7th region teams.

How are the SETH rankings calculated? I’m sure it has been mentioned before; is it just against 6th and 7th region teams? Only KY teams?
