Colonels_Wear_Blue
Per Jason Frakes, the LIT this year will only have 16 teams. The field will be seeded based on SETH rankings, a ranking system created by former JCPS Director of Athletics, Jerry Wyman. Wyman retired from JCPS after the 2020-21 school year and then accepted a job the following year for Bullitt County Schools as their district-wide athletics coordinator. Tournament will be held January 8-13, with the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals being hosted at Valley High School in Louisville.

LouHSJunkie
Moore being in ahead of Louisville Holy Cross is a joke. Also, Butler should not be the #1 seed the Seth rankings are just so silly how it is calculated.

Tigerpride94
Current TP94 Ratings for 6&7th Regions. Only take in account games against 6th and 7th region opponents. Out of region games aren't counted. Not a lot of games so far so they will change a lot I think. Saint Xavier 78.94 Manual 77.93 Evangel 76.49 Beth Haven 72.77 Trinity 72.67 Butler 72.48 Fairdale 70.29 Male 70.11 DeSales 70.07 PRP 63.53 Holy Cross 58.70 Ballard 58.60 CAL 53.90 Jeffersontown 53.56 Eastern 53.10 WEB DuBois 47.68 Western 46.74 Fern Creek 46.69 Atherton 45.69 Bullitt East 44.34 Seneca 43.33 Moore 43.31 Central 41.98 KY Country Day 39.79 North Bullitt 38.91 Bullitt Central 32.49 Doss 32.32 Southern 30.17 Shawnee 27.35 Collegiate 27.08 Valley 26.60 Whitefield Academy 25.79 Waggener 24.95 Iroquois 24.06 Louisville Home School 18.58 Highlands Latin 17.58 Portland Christian 16.70 Francis Parker 12.75 Brown 11.79
LouHSJunkie
Really Sad that Evangel and DeSales do not play in LIT opting for All A and 2A classic . So as of now the 16 teams in LIT are as follows. Butler Ballard Trinity Male Manual Eastern St X Fairdale Prp Beth Haven Fern Creek Moore Jtown Christian Academy? Opted out last year no word on this year as of yet? Holy Cross Bullitt East?? Have opted out in the past? Leaves these three on cut line as first ones out Western Seneca Central

I do them myself. I started teams with last year's ratings. They use average margin of victory/loss against teams played then averages it to get rating. I update them each day unless no games were played between 6th and 7th region teams.

LouHSJunkie
Obviously not the official bracket, but here's what it would look like today: Manual (1)-Bullitt East(16) Holy Cross (8)-J'town (9) Male (4)-CAL (13) Butler (5)-Fern Creek (12) Trinity (2)-Moore (15) Eastern (7)-Fairdale (10) Ballard (3)-Beth Haven (14) St. X (6)-PRP (11) The tip 4 seeds would host Doubleheaders which would be Manual, Trinity, Ballard and Male for the first round then quarterfinals, SF and finals at valley

LongTimeReader
How are the SETH rankings calculated? I’m sure it has been mentioned before; is it just against 6th and 7th region teams? Only KY teams?
