Cincinnati 96 West Virginia 83 (ot)

Featured Replies

That was one of the worst displays I have seen by a coach in quite a while. His team battles back to tie the game and get it into OT and he's out on the court begging for a T. It seemed like he just wanted the refs to give the game to West Virginia so he would have something else to yell about.

The refs were awful all day, and Mick snapped. The team responded to it after his T and again at the start of OT. When you are in the middle of a bad 5 game losing streak, sometimes you have to walk the line...

There is life in the 'Nati. Good win for Mick and crew!:thumb:

I appreciate it GT. I'm sure my boss, who's a WVA fan will LOVE seeing that on his desk Monday.

Good to see the Cats getting their first conference win under their belt. They battled until the end and what a great game by Marvin Gentry.

I only saw parts of the game during UofL's commercials and then the end and OT so I didn't get to see the refs in action. They may have been bad all day but they still earned a nice dinner somewhere compliments of Cronin. I think he was so mad he was seeing double, maybe he didn't know which line was which...

Solid game for the Bearcats. They looked pretty good at time. The officials in this game where horrible on both side of the ball IMO. They were very inconsistent. I think the turning point in the game was when Mick got T'd up. Thats when UC went on to take control.

Nice win for the Bearcats. I only caught the last three minutes of overtime on the radio. Good thing I taped the game. I think I'll go watch it right now.

This game was something you could feel the electricity with Mick storming the court, etc...great win Bearcats.

While it appeared that a T was deserved, it would not have cost UC the game.

Maybe I just don't know the rules then. Would they have not shot free throws if he had been given a T?

If there was a T in that situation, the free throws are taken before the start of OT and not at the end of regulation...

Correct.
