Scotties Try To Be Road Warriors In Hostile Territory

Records: Both are 8-2

Week 11 Results: Glasgow beat Somerset | McLean beat Marshall County

Series History: First meeting as far back as 1998

Teaser Preview: Glasgow's 6-0 start to the season took a detour with consecutive losses in 3A's deepest district, leaving the Scotties on the road in the first round. A win in Somerset last week may be just what the doctor ordered to jump start a playoff run.

A dangerous, scrappy McLean County squad awaits in Calhoun.

The Cougars have quietly put together another program building season, following last year's 9-3 mark. The backfield trident of Brodie Cline, Elijah Baldwin, and Aden Bolden are the focal point of a ground heavy offense. Teams that lean into the run game have proven problematic for Glasgow this season.

The Scotties counter with a more balanced offensive approach, featuring the steady hand of Easton Jessie distributing the ball to a variety of skill people.

Name recognition will bestow the title of road favorite upon Glasgow, but don't expect McLean County to be cooperative. The Cougars can play and they haven't lost at home in two years.

They haven’t faced a team like Glasgow at their place in two years. Easton Jessie is a very good quarterback and will lead to the Cougars demise. Give me the Scotties by two touchdowns.

Score anyone?

McLean just went up 24-22 late in the first half. A little digging on twitter produced a live stream.

I predicted a McLean win a week or two ago and was called crazy. Definitely a competitive game

McLean added another one right before the half.

It's 32-22 Cougars as we go to the locker rooms.

Glasgow 38-32 middle of the third

These teams are well matched.  The field is nice, the broadcast sounds good, tune in!

Touchdown Scotties!

Glasgow 46 McLean 32

422 left in the 3rd.

I’ll say this, Scotties have an A+ live stream. Set up is outstanding.

Glasgow has outscored McLean County 24-0 this third quarter. Talk about dominating a quarter of football.

Oh yes, this is a professional broadcast.
