I guess I should just say undefeated since every team didn’t get a full 10 game schedule this year like Corbin.

One thing about it Paris will still be on this list and my most likely to no be is Wayne Co. They only beat Metcalfe last week by 14 if I remember correctly and Taylor is a whole lot better than Metcalfe.

Manual, Clay County, Henry County, Wayne County, and Western Hills were all cast out from the ranks of the unbeaten last week. Manual stands out. Not necessarily that they lost, but the one sided nature of it couldn't have been predicted by many.

We're assured of losing at least one more in Week 7, with Franklin-Simpson and Glasgow getting together.

Bell County and Glasgow were cut down last week, leaving us with 17 undefeated teams still afloat.

Franklin County and Corbin were the standout unbeatens from Week 7. The Flyers routed North Oldham, while the Redhounds dispatched Johnson Central by four touchdowns.

Rock was two points away from being on that list of unbeaten teams in the game they lost at Paris 37-39. After that game they learned how it feels to lose and that jump started what unfolded the following two weeks. They extracted their revenge on their next two opponents who just so happen to be both unbeaten when they knocked them out one by one. Clay county was unbeaten two weeks ago and then Bell county this past Friday night.

Seven of our seventeen unbeatens were off last week. The ten that played, all won.

Franklin County, in particular, survived by the skin of its teeth on a ballsy two point conversion in the final moments.

Kentucky Country Day was also taken to the wire, but turned away its challenger twice inside the 10 yard line in the fourth quarter.

Doubtful we still have seventeen this time next week. In fact, several are in danger of taking a loss.

These are the six games where I would consider the unbeaten to be the underdog, or at the very least, it's a toss-up:

It was an eventful week, to say the least. Paris, Betsy Layne, Franklin-Simpson, Lloyd Memorial, and Jeffersontown all had their perfect records bite the dust.

Paris, Betsy Layne, and Lloyd Memorial all took one on the chin, each losing by four scores or more.

Jeffersontown fell by three points to DeSales after a late push came up just short of the goal line. 

On the winning end, run heavy Hart County went airborne with a last second Hail Mary to shock Glasgow.

We're left this week with a dandy dozen teams still undefeated. Here they are, with their upcoming opponent.
