We're guaranteed to lose at least one more this week, as Campbellsville hosts KCD for a massive small school showdown.

Hart County and Ashland are also on alert.

Manual, Clay County, Henry County, Wayne County, and Western Hills were all cast out from the ranks of the unbeaten last week. Manual stands out. Not necessarily that they lost, but the one sided natu

When the dust settles, the Boyle County Rebels will be the only undefeated team in the state this season. And the shoe fits, given the narrative around Boyle as the #1 overall team in the state.

  • We'll have an undefeated State Champion...and they will have absolutely earned it!

Campbellsville emerged from their tussle with KCD at 9-0. It was closer than most thought, but the Eagles knocked the Bearcats from this list.

Tussle might be underselling Ashland's encounter with Johnson Central. It was more like wrestling a grizzly bear. The Tomcats are out, leaving us with ten teams still chasing perfection.

Here they are, with their final regular season opponent:

Campbellsville and Hart County are up against it once again, this time versus each other. Needless to say, one will fall from the ranks of the unbeaten.

Boyle County's head may be on the chopping block this week, as the Rebels visit "The Farm". It's never easy going against Boyle, but they'll have their hands full retaining their spotless record.

Union County could be on the chopping block as well. Should be a pretty good game.

In the week's battle of unbeatens, Hart County held off Campbellsville to oust the Eagles from the list and clinch the first spotless regular season in Raiders history.

Campbellsville has company, as Union County also got its first taste of defeat at the hands of Greenwood.

They say everyone is 0-0 as the playoffs get underway, but there are officially eight teams still standing at 10-0. Here they are, with their first round opponent.

Suffice to say, we should have eight teams sitting at 11-0 this time next week.

To the surprise of no one, all eight unbeatens extended their runs in Round 1. The average margin of victory was 48 points. That number will tighten up this week. Sayre and Hart County are in the crosshairs.

All eight survived again.

Sayre bucked most people's expectation against Paris. CovCath and Hart County were tested, but passed. They'll both have their hands full in the quarters.

Sayre will again be an underdog next week, and we're guaranteed to lose at least one unbeaten with Corbin and Boyle County meeting in one of the most hyped up quarterfinals ever.

Just looking at Boyle's path to a 4th. consecutive title it would be Corbin, Franklin County, and Covington Catholic or Paducah Tilghman.  All 12-0 currently.

Hart County's comeback bid came up short against Bell County, closing the book on one of the best stories of the 2023 season.

The 4A semifinals halved the unbeatens in that class, leaving three time reigning champion Boyle County to face fellow undefeated Covington Catholic.
