Owensboro 28 Graves County 21

Featured Replies

Good job to both teams. Graves was physical. Wasnt pretty but the Devils leave with the W on the road and improves the all-time record against Graves to 12-1.

Mentioned this in the other thread, but it’s locked and I wanted to get others opinion. Did the QB not pass the LOS on the 4th & 13? Or is it to close to call?

Ref standing right there doesn’t call it.

Their whole body has to be across the line. Their toenail can be even with the line of scrimmage and everything else across the line and it’s still a legal pass.

Even if your foot is touching a yard past?

Your whole body can be past but if your back foot is still not past the line of scrimmage it’s legal. Now I’m not saying the call should have went one way or the other. I can’t tell from the photo but what I stated is the rule.

Still looks really close. Thanks for clarifying though.

I agree very close.

Ball was spotted 34 yard line really 33.8 yard line.  The ball is a full yard past when he releases it.  Several 4th down flags on O.

No surprise that this game was close. You take the road W and get back to work. Still wish the Red Devils would play 2-3 kids both ways.

Doesn’t matter where the ball is, matters where that last part of his body is. The back foot. This angle it is impossible to tell.

Don’t forget, we were hurt last night too.  Marrs appears to be still very limited.

We would both have to get past District 2 for it to happen. Assuming we both beat a good madisonville team. I’m not sleeping on them.

I have seen a theme with you guys and refs after every game on here.

It doesn’t matter one bit where the ball is when the QB releases it. As long as 100% of his body isn’t across the line of scrimmage then it is a legal forward pass.
