It doesn’t matter one bit where the ball is when the QB releases it. As long as 100% of his body isn’t across the line of scrimmage then it is a legal forward pass.

I don’t know the rule but I guess it’s possible that his right pinky toe was still the only thing not past the line  of scrimmage.

I’m not really worried about the margin of victory a W is a W. Owensboro has been there before, close game at Graves then a blowout come playoffs. That’s was Graves chance to sneak in the W at home…  I just hope Owensboro makes some personnel adjustments on defense cause sheeesh that’s not the Red Devils defense we’re accustomed to seeing in years past.

? ? ? ?

I do think Graves wins out the rest of their season.

Next week at Madisonville may be tough for Graves.

Screen passes always fool us.  Secondary is lost on some plays and huge gain wide open.  75 percent of time they make stops and then wide open pass someone lost.  Safeties are inexperienced.  We miss Winstead there and maybe Hampton.  Owensboro is usually Linebacker U.  I like Crowe on the outside but we miss him inside.  I liked the 4 down lineman this past game.  Coaches great adjustments.  We knew this was rebuild year.  Live the tough schedule though it will pay benefits.

True. I think Graves wins simply because they’ve been more battle tested and their defense is better. If Mars is healthy they should win.

I got bored and decided to go to that game. Pretty decent game. Graves made a ton of mistakes, including an unsportsmanlike penalty from the coach that led to an Owensboro TD. I think graves will be better toward the end of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if they meet in the playoffs and GC pulls out the win this time. Good luck to both teams going forward.
