Out of state opponents hurt because they get counted as .500 record team so teams like Center Grove who Trinity played and Hoban who Frederick Douglass are way undervalued in RPI.

We have talked about this before.  Come on KHSAA, just use Calpreps.

The out of state games and district games will hurt Douglass' RPI, but as long as we end up #2 in RPI, that's all we need.

Calpreps would be so much better than RPI and would be no work for KHSAA to do other than pull up the website.

I agree but to me that's going to be hard to reach when they have 6 games left. Two of them are very good opponents (Corbin, Boyle) but they are 4A. Also, one more out of state team plus two of their 3 district games are against the #23 and #32(last in 6A) district games. The game with Bryan Station will be big.
