St. X (2-0) will host Male (2-0) after beating 3A Central 21-6. Male travels to St. X after beating Ballard 34-3. 
 

Last year, they played twice with St. X winning the regular season game 24-10, and Male wining the 6A playoff game 22-21 in overtime.

Male has yet to give up a touchdown this season and are looking very good defensively, and on offense have rolled up the points. Talented WR Max Gainey makes play difficult for the secondary and must be accounted for on every play.

St. X ran the ball well against Central with Davis Yates rushing for 139 yds and Manny Gray rushing for 85 yds. With only one passing TD which was caught by Cameron Halloway, the passing game will face another stiff test against Male.

This should be another competitive game. Will the Bulldogs or the Tigers be 3-0 after Friday night?

This is a tough one to pick.

Marlon Harbin and Cameron Holloway two keys for St. X against Male.

Man I love 6A this season with these big time matchups early in the season.

This is a tough one to pick.  I'm going to try to make this one as BG plays on Saturday.

Male's D will be tested, but have held up with no TDs given up this season.

St. X D will have their hands full with Gainey.

Calpreps ratings show Male around 9 pts better. I'm going to put on my green and gold tinted glasses and pick the Tigers by 7.

#5 for Male is a handful. It will be interesting to see how Male uses him.
