    Just like @Purple88said, the Henderson and Greenwood wins were nice wins, but they aren't state championship level wins.  Owensboro wins most of the games in which the talent discrepancy is clear but

    We're daily now from 5-6 central time on 1027 The Game.  We'll be discussing it here and there on Wednesday and Thursday but we'll break it down at length on Friday.  Might have to get you to call in

    I felt really good when LCA was winning 28-10.  But BG stormed back and actually left a few points on the field.  BG great QB and the sophomore WR is speedy.  I love playing BG again - don’t think we’

The offensive Coordinator for BG has helped revamp their offense for the last 2 years.  Where was he before?  Daviess County.  He was scoring a ton of points on Owensboro for a few years in a row.  Doesn’t give me a good feeling.  He knows how to attack and he’s been successful everywhere he has been.  Throw in maybe the best QB in the state….

 

By the way I bragged how good DC was in 2020 with Leach at OC and it was the best we faced - said this right before we played BG in state final.  Much to the chagrin of a few BG fans.

    He's been a great addition for them, but I believe he is just the QB coach and co-OC, per BG's website. Chris Seabolt actually controls the O and calls plays, or so I think, and his title is Assoc. Head Coach. A few heads on that tree, but we agree, noticeable change is there.

    Leach has been a fantastic addition to the BG coaching staff and has had a huge positive impact on the BG offense.

    Leach is a great QB coach. But I think the biggest impact for the Purples offense the last two years has been Deuce Bailey. A kid like that can make many a coach look like an offensive genius.

    Why is there no commentary with the NFHS broadcast?  I paid $12 for this?

    radio broadcast is too far ahead.

    Also unusually light crowd on the BG side.  Did the late kickoff scare people off?
