That'd be a great point if most of the talent at Holmes could actually stay on the court & in a uniform.

Ok sorry, but if he really thinks that Avery is better or as good as Bo or Billy right now, two guys who played a lot for last years CovCath Ninth Region Championship team, he is sadly mistaken.....IMO

Braeon Avery of Holmes has started I believe every game this season and started some games his sophomore season mainly when Jefferson was hurt in parts of January. When a player starts on the most talented team in the 9th, he usually has alot of talent.

 

That's not true. He didn't start against CovCath at the 5th/3rd, nor against St. X down there. Outside of that, I have no idea.

COVCATH wins this battle over a very depleted Holmes team. It won't matter the sead in the districts for Holmes, they will be ful stregth by then. All players missing will be back including their floor general. And the 9th Region tourney is at Holmes this year I believe, Holmes will only get better as the season goes on in my book because of the younger players having to step in and play for the missing players. Time will tell.

:thumb: While the circumstances are different, the consequences look to be similar--even though they may lose a few games, Holmes' subs are getting experience now (just as CovCath's players did earlier this year) that will aid them later in the season. The only disadvantage to Holmes is that it makes their postseason a little bit harder, having to face either HC or CCH in the first round of districts.

Great point. Does this help Holmes' bench get a little deeper?

CCH has not had many games where they've put it all together offensively. Thus, the above is a true statement.

Agreed Sir Mix Alot, this team has been loads of talent, loads of hype and loads of problems and dissapointments for 3 years now. They show up with that attitude and they'll get shown the door early
