The #6 Jaguars (25-9) will play the winner of Simon Kenton/Henderson Co. in tomorrow's nightcap quarterfinal.

Final Cooper really struggled making shots from the floor early against the Mercy zone. Mercy gets the win after a 3 point loss to Cooper from about 6 weeks ago.

? Leah Macy continues to impress.

37 & 21 at Rupp...no big deal!  Ha!!   That is CRAZY impressive, she is so strong, so good, and so composed.

And only a sophomore. Egads!

Leah Macy definitely wore her "Super Woman" cape tonight with 37 points, 15/20 free throws, 21 rebounds, 2 assists, one blocked shot, and one steal and played 32 minutes.  A great win for Mercy Academy without the services of PG Alyssa Murphy out with an injury.  We are living in interesting times in this state with some of the best groups of underclassmen I have ever seen.  Think of a 2025 class including Leah Macy, ZaKiyah Johnson, Ciara Byars just to mention a few.

Watching Macy play and then realizing she is a sophomore really got my attention.  Great game Leah!

Interesting to see where this 2025 group ends up in college and how they compare to “all time” classes this group is crazy good, and we haven’t even seen kids that grow into their body or are late bloomers, should be special.

Mercy was without starting guard Alyssa Murphy (knee) tonight. Believe I heard Leah Macy was in the game for every minute.

Watching Henderson county play last night makes me think Leah will put up another 30 tonight. I’m not sure they have anyone to match up with her. Will be fun to watch.
