Levis announced last week his intentions to enter the NFL draft this coming spring, but left open the possibility of still playing in the bowl game. However, he announced today that will not be playing and will focus on getting ready for the NFL draft. He is projected as the 2nd highest quarterback in the draft according to Mel Kiper. 

This was a given, let’s get our young quarterback some needed starting reps.

I don't blame any young man for not playing in games that don't matter.

I also want to say it again, players should have the option of leaving for the NFL after one year, not the current three, it is a joke.

Totally agree.....in fact many don't need to waste time impersonating a student for a year. Let the NFL develop a minor league system for those guys. Not many 18-19 year olds are ready and with NIL money college is a nice job.

I agree, why pretend when you can really help someone. 

Maybe it was on purpose or not but the NFL effectively has made major college football a minor league for themselves.

Any player that is going to be drafted should sit out of meaningless bowl games. There's too much on the line.
