    Great HS game, a lot of fans missed out on this one as the bleachers were not well populated.

    I was there and I am more than happy I decided to go! I doubt there will be many games this whole year that top this one.

    Can’t wait to see the stats for this game. WV was lights out from behind the arc!!  Evangel was fun to watch as well, several big dunks by their bigs!!! 

    Walton-Verona opened last year with a victory over the defending state champs.....this year they knock off highly-regarded Evangel.

    Mike Hester is doing a BANG-UP JOB in W-V!

    And this was supposed to be a bit of a "rebuilding" year for the Bearcats????  ?

    Those are a great trio to build your team around.   For W-V, seeing Gutman tie for a team-high 26 points in such a high-profile game is good news....every team is looking in December to see how last year's subs adapt being a starter.    This is good news for the Cats.

    Krohman and Dixon are proven contributors.    If Gutman can keep this up - and I totally believe that young man is capable - W-V rises in the region rankings quickly.....

    SOLID win for the Bearcats. First they stomp a mudhole in Beechwood, and now they win a highly touted Evangel team.

    Man.  Even for an OT game, that's a ton of points for High School.   They must have been filling it up at an old LMU pace.
