I firmly believe injuries have slowed Fredrick. He just can’t get open against high-level teams. As for Reeves, I guess he’s fine, but expecting mid-major guys to slide into a star role at UK is unrealistic. He was at Illinois State for a reason.

He didn’t coach in the current NBA. He coaches a style of play today that was the style of play in the NBA when he coached there. He’s still there.

For some teams, one good shot is better than two bad ones.  
 
But I the interest of fairness, two bad shots is probably better than one bad shot.

Fredrick’s has never been a great athlete to where he easily can get himself open against top competition. Also I think that’s unfair to say about Reeves. I mean Curry was at Davidson for a reason, and that didn’t mean he couldn’t do well against top teams lol. With that said they don’t need Reeves to slide into a star role. If that is what they thought he was, they would start him. They got him for his scoring and shooting ability to provide a spark off the bench. Which unfortunately he and Fredrick simply can’t throw the ball in the ocean against the two good teams they have played, even though they have had some good looks.

You’re on the right track, when you go 2 for 1 you’re gonna get another shot, good or bad

It’s not like we execute really well and get good shots anyway!!!

Curry was a star at Davidson as a sophomore. Reeves spent four years at Illinois State and nobody had heard of him before he came to UK. My only point is to expect a kid in that situation to come in and score 10-15 ppg is probably too much. And for a team that seems to be limited in shooting, we might be asking more than the kid can give. At least that’s what it looks like RIGHT NOW.
