After losing their final two regular season games, Madison Central (9-3) has rebounding with wins over Henry Clay and Dunbar in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Ballard (10-2) is riding two comfortable playoff wins over NKY’s Dixie Heights and Ryle.

Madison Central has the talent to win this game, but there's a missing ingredient to this team. What it is, I don't know. They survived by the skin of their teeth early on and were not competitive in their three losses in the back half of the regular season. 

Mistake free football and big plays from Jayden West and Brady Hensley could make this interesting, but I think Ballard is too good defensively to get repeatedly lit up. And the Bruins should muster enough offense against a porous Indians defense to comfortably advance.
