January 9, 200719 yr Gotta look at the losses. LSU lost to a two loss Auburn team and the National Champions. USC lost to a 4 loss Oregon State team and a 6 loss UCLA team. And the late loss puts them behind LSU...also, beating UM not nearly as impressive after OSU showing...LSU is the better team based on what has happened on the field...
