In Louisville we used to pass out full-sized Snickers bars and full-sized packs of Starburst just to try to get a handful of kids to come down our street. We had a few neighbors who'd do the same, but we still usually ended up with a dozen or fewer trick-or-treaters.

The new neighborhood in NKY has a whole mess of little kids, so we've got fun-sized Twix and Snickers, and then fun-sized Sour Punch Straws and Nerds.

Grownups have their choice of Coors Light or a White Claw (in a plastic Solo cup).

I basically live in "an old folks home" and we do not get any kiddos here. 

I love the Solo cup option CWB!

Also, will you have any full-sized Snickers bars on hand for a special circumstance? 

Not to high jack the thread, but did anyone see the 12,000 fentanyl pills seized in LAX?  It was in boxes/bags of Sweetarts, Skittles and Whoppers.  Scary stuff, especially with the recent increase in fentanyl pills designed to look like candies.

Yeah, what is the world coming to. 

Now, as for candy, not sure yet.  Wife tried to buy some last week "because it's on sale",  I told her to hold off and make sure we are actually home to pass it out.  IF we are home and do pass out candy, it will be Butterfingers, Milk Duds, Snickers and Tootsie Rolls.  That's what I THINK the kids in my neighborhood would prefer, oh and skittles aren't bad either.

Welp, I'm gonna have to strongly disagree there. I hate those things. Ughhh.

We get no kids at our house. We normally do trunk or treat in our church parking lot. Kids can hit one lot and get candy from a bunch of people. As far as candy I'm not sure what the assortment is but it has Whoppers and little Twix bars in it, as well as some other stuff.

This is what we hand out at the @nkypetehouse.  Go big or go home.

I always liked the dry, chalky candies.   Smarties, sweetarts and Necco wafers.
