We live on a short street with 8 children who are neighbors.   I make each child a baggie of goodies, including candy, Halloween pencils and some other trinkets. The few other kids who come by get to choose from a mixed bag of mini candies.

Ramen noodles???? Lol, I've never heard of that one, but I kinda love it ?

My plan was to give out Smarties so I bought a 2.5 pound bag, just in case someone came by, but will have to make another trip to the candy department, since I've since consumed every one of them.

They actually sell 5 pound bags, so I view it as cutting back.

You get mostly college kids stopping by? ?

Shoot fire! They bus, car and van kids to my neighborhood!!  We always run out before the two hours is up.

This year the misses and I will be out to dinner.

When I was growing up in Fort Mitchell we used to have trick-or-treat on the closest Saturday to Halloween, so it was rarely ON Halloween....the parking lots around the city were ALWAYS full of cars during trick-or-treat from all the people bringing kids in for extra trick-or-treating.
