Doubtful.

Is this to replace the Boone JV cancelled game?

Walton-Verona canceled on Beechwood and Boone County canceled on Highlands. Glad they were able to work this one out.

I am glad this worked out but what is everyone’s opinion on schools canceling on a Wednesday/Thursday to play another team? Leaves the other team scrambling to find a team and officials. Doesn’t seem right.

I would like to hear why they canceled. Stuff happens. Just don't cancel the week before because they expect a butt whuppin'. They knew who they were scheduling before the season. For example, Beechwood should be playing Holy Cross in JV this week but Holy Cross and Beechwood did not schedule it when they created their JV schedules before the season started. That gives plenty of time to fill the schedule.

Boone County canceled this week to play a different team on Saturday.

And Walton Verona was scheduled at the start of the year to play Beechwood Saturday but cancelled on Beechwood this week. Same situation.

When playing for HHS I witnessed coaches walk to shake hands with Coach Mueller at the conclusion of the game and cancel the JV game that was scheduled for the next morning on more than one occasion. I think many would be surprised how many times team cancel JV and freshman games because they know they are going to get a butt whuppin'. 

The reason the WV AD gave was bc they were down to three healthy lineman after their Monday night game vs Carroll Co. Heard from a spectator at that game that there were no obvious injuries. ??‍♀️
