Interesting at the top this year.

I see a possibility this year that Corbin and Boyle will meet on Kroger Field…… Going to be fun! Still some big 3rd round games to get past but the reality is more realistic this time around. 

I'm intrigued by the Logan County/Greenwood matchup.  I really think Greenwood is a pretty good team.

I'll take Logan by a thin margin in that one, but I do agree, this isn't typical Greenwood this year. If you don't show up they can hurt you. They've got some nice pieces to win games such as this.

So if the RPI ended just like these rankings we would have these East side match ups in round 3 barring any upsets in the first 2 rounds.

 East - Johnson Central at Boyle and Lexington Catholic at Corbin

Yes, sometime today according to the KHSAA website. It said the 12th.

As detailed to school administrators during recently concluded regional meetings, the first official football RPI rankings will be released at the start of week 6.

I had the same false impression as you too.  

I don't know if they the KHSAA changed it or we just read what we wanted to read and not what was there.  But I guess it is going to be a couple of weeks.

What are we now?  4 weeks are in the books and the start of week 5 is today, correct?  If so, we are talking a week from today the RPI will be released.

I fully expect that to be the match up. Boyle could get beat and drop to 2 putting them against Lex Cath instead.

The final results on the Boyle - Fredrick Douglas game could really change the RPI and matchups for sure.
