Snagging him from a conference rival is great. Gonna be great to do the same with another top recruit from an in state rival soon.

Agreed.  Be nice to go ahead and get a big for next year as well.

Ugonna might be the the big for next year. He was orginally in '23 class but is expected to redshirt and learn under Oscar and be ready to play  in 23-24. He is set to commit on August 1st 2022 and then join a team shortly after.

Yeah that's who I was referring to.  Would love to see it help everything fall into place. 

If anyone is interested, Reed Sheppard's team is currently playing Bronny James team on ESPN. Sheppard is having a pretty solid outing and his team is up about 15 with ten minutes left in the game.

I didn't watch but one of my buddies said that he looked really good and was the best player on the floor, last night at least.

I watched probably 3/4 of the game.  He made plays on both ends and it never seemed like he was rushing things, almost passive at times but he's just that patient I'd say.  You could tell he trusted the play of his teammates and didn't feel like he had to do a lot.  When he wasn't on the floor, the other team made runs.  It was obvious how much of an impact he had, atleast in that setting for the team he was playing for last night. 

As I have eluded to before, Reed can play for anybody in the country right now.

A couple days ago DJ Wagner signed an NIL deal with Nike. The assumption is that he will be going to a Nike school now (Kentucky) and Louisville is out of the picture. The 23 class is shaping up very nicely.

The last time I saw him comment on his commitment date was after the Peach Jam in late July and he said he is in no rush and will take it day by day. He is not putting a priority on committing anywhere. He is scheduled to be at Big Blue Madness tonight as well as Bradshaw and a lot of highly ranked recruits for '24 & '25.

Center Aaron Bradshaw has committed to Kentucky.
