Mccracken has the resources and the talent in their district to be a top 10 6A school on a consistent basis and possibly a top 4-6 range team every couple of years. BTW that is exactly the same outlook for new Hoptown school whenever they open. Nothing more or less. 

I think Smith will go with what he is comfortable with. Probably learned quickly at PT that letting others influence your decisions could be costly.

I would think the Hopkinsville school would have a higher ceiling than McCracken county in 6A. But I agree with most of what you said. On occasional years they should or could make some noise but will not consistently challenge the big boys from Louisville in 6A.

I can go along with that. Hoptown having both schools together should have a higher ceiling.
