Colonels versus Dragons in a rematch of the 2004 Sweet 16 semifinals. Warren Central is on a roll with wins over Male and Murray, and Covington Catholic has beaten Ashland and Lyon County to advance to the semifinals.

One of the biggest questions for the game is how will the Colonels' point guard Evan Ipsaro hold up after a hard ankle roll against Lyon County in the semifinals.

A state finals appearance hangs in the balance. Who wins this one?

    Stress is killing me.

  • It looked to me when Ipsaro turns it on the ankle is about 90%, it is when he is in the normal flow that the "pain" causes him to favor it.  My thinking is he will play and play well but at something

  • I am ready for this one!

Any word on how Ipsaro is doing after the injury?

I’d be blown away if he was 100%. But I’d likewise be stunned if he didn’t play at all. My guess is that adrenaline carries him. A potential game later today might be more of an issue.

The fact that there is a picture of him at Cracker Barrel having breakfast on Twitter, and thus not getting treatment, tells me he is good to go.

We are calling in the "Big Gun" for this one!

0 to 0 but I am behind on the video feed.

5 to 4 WC.

And as of right now we don't have Colonels Wear Blue on the site so if anyone wants to update that would be ideal.
