Rough night for Reed Sheppard.  Ryan Davidson turns in a real nice performance in a losing effort with 23 & 11.

Rylee Samons with 23 points to lead Pikeville.  Nick Robinson adds 14 & Keian Worrix 12.

Stat that jumps out at me, other than Sheppards 5-20 FG shooting, is both teams combining to shoot 12-40 from 3.  That's a whole lot of misses from beyond the arc.

Pikeville has some impressive athletes, congrats Panthers!

They're tough as nails, and fearless. Was super impressed by them. Not saying they'll beat GRC, but they might surprise many in giving them a good game. Pikeville isn't 32-2 for nothing. 

North is what they are. 4 of the 7 who played for them only shot 3s tonight. Let Reed try to create and wait for the 3 ball. I think Pikeville can run with GRC for around 2-3 quarters.

His name is Elisha, not Elijah. I got that wrong a lot when he was in high school playing, too. 

The state is now seeing what we say in the 15th all season, Pikeville is legit! If Worrix was a few inches taller he would have every D1 school knocking on his door.
