Open Job: Fern Creek

Coach James Schooler has stepped down as head coach of the Tigers according to the Courier-Journal this morning. Long time assistant at Ballard & North Oldham before taking over at Fern Creek. With Renner announcing retirement before the season, could Schooler return to the Bruins bench?

If he applies, Manual's Miquel Coleman should get a good, long look from Ballard.

Surprised at this.

Might Rob Burton move up to the head job there at FC?   He did pretty well in a short stint as head coach at North Oldham and has been on the bench with Schooler at FC the last couple of years....

My guess is Carlos Mitchell will get first look at Fern Creek and current Ballard assistant, Greg Willis will be the front runner for Ballard job.

Any movement on this?

I heard a whisper that a former UofL player may have the inside track…

Hearing same thing you are hearing. The one with a good AAU program
