So you’re saying he was given a job that was not posted yet nor was there any interviews?

I would think that’s very unethical to promise a job for a position that is not open. I just want to know who promised him he’d get a job? Are they going to do an actual search?

I think what Coach HB is saying is that an actual job search was conducted. Some of the big time guys said no so the powers at be moved on.

If you do not think that whoever that was involved with the search had a pool of names that they talked to you are pretty naive about how the process works.  I am sure that many of the names that have been thrown out on this forum were contacted about the job.  Based on what I know about some of the people at the board I would say that they either will or have done what is best for the program in the long run.

Ok so if they’re doing what’s best then they’ll be conducting an actual interview process in November and be more open about the process instead of just letting one person with a lot of power push the Super into hiring his guy?

Maybe or they did their due diligence and decided Coach Clark was the best man for the job.  The Superintendent was the Principal at CCHS when Coach Clark was at HHS the first time so he is familiar with him.

I am hearing of a couple interviews comin this week? Maybe they can convince , bribe , coerce or even force somebody to take this job for 1 year!

Who is on the list?  Lovely and Weston.  I know those are a couple of assistants that have aspirations of being a head coach.

Can you elaborate on what this hire says about the direction of the district going??  Don’t want to start any bashing of who ever this guy is?? I  Just want an idea about the direction? 

I would say if this hire is not a good hire the deal is done with the new hire for the New Academy? If it is from McCracken or a coach off the Hopkinsville staff then we mega coach is hired. Could be wrong but time will tell!
