Trinity - 2022 Schedule

Featured Replies

The end zones are green in the middle because white lettering made it harder for soccer goalies to visually pick up the ball as it headed towards the goal.  The green in the middle end zones offer greater contrast.

For anyone interested, Trinity's scrimmage against Springfield (OH) is at 1pm Saturday at Marshall Stadium.

The new chair back seats and video board have been installed at Marshall Stadium. Construction on the commons area behind the visitors side is still ongoing.  I can't wait for opening night!

Yeah, it leaves something to be desired. Midfield is begging for a giant shamrock in the middle. Or something, anything.

I like the green and white, especially when it's the traditional uniforms, and as you can see I'm a Saint X guy. A great arena for football, just don't like the black.

Springfield was Ohio's D1 state runner-up last year and should contend again. Wide receiver Anthony Brown holds offers from schools like Oklahoma, Michigan, UK, and Cincinnati. They've also got a class of '24 cornerback with offers from Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Should make for a great scrimmage.

Yes, it should be a great scrimmage. I talked with a few parents yesterday, and they believe this will be a much improved Trinity squad this year.

I left at halftime. Trinity was up 24-6, all 3 tds were long runs down the sideline. Springfields lone td was a long pass down the left side. The extra point was blocked.

Trinity won the varsity scrimmage 24-13. Were driving to score again around 15 yd line when 3Q ended and varsity part was over. Good win by the Shamrocks!

Very impressed by Drew Allen at QB. He had a 40yd TD run. The last TD was actually a pass play for 75 yds by the second QB.

The defense looks quick and made many good plays. Kicking game was strong.

The sideline looked more focused from both players and coaches.

Only a scrimmage but the Rocks seemed a lot more prepared than they did a year ago.

Several starters did not dress. I thought we looked good.  Springfield was a class opponent.  They did not drive all the way down here expecting to lose.  Go Rocks!!

What did each of you think of Springfield (OH)?

I know Springfield got a 6’ 4” QB transfer who can pass and run, they have 2 commits to UK and they have a senior class they love. Their program has been an Ohio state final candidate the last three years. Runner up to a Cleveland school last season in the large school class.

Thank you.  On the surface this is a very nice scrimmage result for the Rocks.
