8th region - Gallatin will be the favorite, though Owen could give them a problem.

I think Gallatin might be a sleeper to win it all, especially with Nate Edmundson now on board? Their problem is the draw, with a first round matchup (probable) vs. Lex. Sayre who just beat a nice Boone County squad (previously undefeated and 4-A) while winning the Williamstown Holiday Tourney; and then a probable 2nd round matchup vs. tourney favorite UHA??

Litkenhous lists St. Francis and Brown in the 6th region??

No biggie.

I was talking with some of our fans on Saturday and they were saying if the Cats could make it to Richmond maybe they could have another run like in 1999 when they made it to the championship game.

I replied that if they make it they had a killer draw with the 9th, 10th, and 11th in their quarter. However, you can't avoid the top teams the whole tournament. You just line up and play who is next in the bracket.

In the 16th Elliott Co. and Rose Hill are the favorites with Raceland capable of pulling an upset. I think that statewide Brossart has to be the favorite. UHA has trouble shooting the ball from outside in the games I have saw but are a very strong rebounding team and capable of winning it all. I think whoever wins the 14th is capable of making noise and the winner of the 15th vs 16th game could also do damage.

I forgot June Buchanan. I could see them making noise in the All "A" State tourney, but they have to get there first. Good luck to them in their quest.

You almost have to throw Silver Grove in the mix now. I know Brossart is a good program, but you just never know with the grove.

Isn't there another forum for this crap, or must we continue to beat this OLD horse????????

BTW funtowatch, welcome to the site!! You may want to check the "Public/Private Debate" forum.

Yeah, I think that needs to be discussed in a different forum, just to keep this thread alive. Otherwise its just going to be a debate and the thread will lose its intended purpose.
