49ers 26 Bengals 23 OT

Final another tough loss for the Bengals when they could have took over 1st place in the division and now they are on the outside looking in as of now for the playoffs.

That one is hard to swallow.

PLEASE beef up the O-line in the next draft.

Every week Jesse Bates loses more and more money.

Agree completely!!  And so does Taylor!!  How do you play for a FG???!!!  Just pitiful play calling, walk it right down the field to the 24 throwing it then worry about a FG!!!  All they had to do was keep a back or TE to chip on Bosa, keep throwing it and they score a TD EASY!!  Not gonna win anything with your hands around your throat Zac!!  WHY did you draft a great QB, to let him win games, right???  Then take the ball out of his hands!!!  C’mon Zac!!

You think maybe Burrow checked into that third down run?

No one seems to be better at beating the Cincinnati Bengals than the Cincinnati Bengals.

No, 3rd down was a pass/sack, I’m sure Zac called the 1st and 2nd down runs though, this loss is squarely on Taylor, for his play calling and not replacing Phillips a long time back which ANY other NFL head coach would’ve done!!

Yep, that makes about 3 gifts we’ve given away this year!!  Makes us under .500 at home, 3-4!!

Phillips sucked today and those turnovers were killers. However, going into today why would any coach have replaced Phillips before today? Before today him catching punts has been just fine.

The two turnovers by Phillips, and the taunting by Bell cost the team at least 10 points. That right there cost them the game. However, they then find away to make a comeback and then Taylor goes conservative after passing the ball down the field. Which then also cost them the game.

That is why I hated when people tore him apart for being aggressive the first game of the year and going for it on 4th down. Ever since then, it now seems like he rather play or conservative. Will being aggressive sometimes backfire? Absolutely. However, I will always rather my coach be aggressive and playing to win, rather than playing not to lose. Ugh.

C’mon FC, he has been terrible all year, I think those were his 3rd and 4th fumbles, running backwards and sideways on returns, I still say any other head coach would’ve replaced him long ago

Yes, should’ve kept Andy and drafted another position if Zac is gonna call plays like that, all you’re telling Burrow is “I don’t trust you”

I place no blame for this loss on the coaching staff.   Fact is, player mistakes cost this team a win.  That's not on Taylor.
