I was living out of town during Henessy's prime years, but I have heard about him a lot through my Trinity friends. How good was he, and is there a player in the past few years one could benchmark him with? What did he do in college?

All I know is that if I made a Lloyd all time team Myrion Hopkins would be my running back and Nick Hayes as one of the linebackers.

No way can you put Vince Phillips ahead of Alan Hennesey! Also Jim Campbell would have to be the TE.

Also what about Keith Calvin and Ted Block?

Id have to go old school there. I'd take Mika Lockard and Kevin Ashley over Myrion and Nick. Sorry Myrion, still love ya bro but in '76 Ashley was a BAD MAN and still to this day, Mika is one of the most intense people I know.

He went to Centre, but then dropped out

No, he was at TMC for a bit.

He did his best with limited knowledge. Once he gets into it he'd be proud to see the history on the Hill. 37, just so you know, you are missing two players that went to Notre Dame, 3 LB's that started at UK, one QB who played on a full ride at IU just to name a few. Look it up. You'll like what you see.

LB Greg Metry, Greg Scales, Charlie Singleton, Johnny Miller and Joe Babey are in the mix.

DB Alex Hennesey deserves a shout out. I can't recall enough of the outstanding DBs. The S from the '85 team needs mentioning, but I can't remember his name.

Id have to go old school there. I'd take Mika Lockard and Kevin Ashley over Myrion and Nick. Sorry Myrion, still love ya bro but in '76 Ashley was a BAD MAN and still to this day, Mika is one of the most intense people I know.

Hey I was going to say Mika too but I didn't think anyone would remember that far back
