Make-up your High School's greatest football team ever?

This is with all due respect because I know that Highlands was very good that year, but I noticed you have a lot of players from the '04 team on the defense. I remember watching the semi-finals game at Bell County that year, and Shawn Robbins ran the ball all over the Highlands defense. If Robbins hadn't fumbled late in the game, Bell would have won. By the way, didn't that team go 1-14 with a state championship...lol. Just kidding.

I'm not knocking or disrespecting that team. More so, I am crediting Bell Co. and Robbins.

I'm pretty sure the 04 defense scored more points that year than it gave up... And You could be right about the Shawn Robbin's fumble being one of the differences in the game, but he fumble twice in the 2nd quarter and thats its. And he was the only running back to run for more than 100 yards in a game on that team and he had most of his yards in the 1st half. Good Game shawn....:dancingpa

Just a few I can think of for the Rams. Im sure I left ALOT of deserving people out.

I think I'd put Raymond Clark, Rick Cornette, Kenny Lacks, and Kenny Clark somewhere on that list.

Lawrence County

That is playing a few guys in not their top position and leaving a lot of all state guys + guys that played college ball off the list. Schools represented:

Tenn, UK, Marshall, Morehead, Georgetown, Centre, Army, Western and a couple of more.

Great call on Jason Michael as the quarterback. I played college ball with him at Western and he was one of the toughest and smartest players I've ever seen. I believe he's working with the NY Jets right now, and he'll make an excellent coach on any level. Again, good call.

Boyle County:

QB - Brandon Smith (WKU) Jeff Duggins (Mr. Football) Bart Johnson (Georgetown)

RB - Matt Quinn (Cambellsville)

WR - Seth Tamme (WKU?)

Neal Brown (UK, UMass)

Matt Miller (EKU)

TE - Jacob Tamme (UK)

OL - Travis Leffew (U of L)

Bobby Leffew (U of L)

Brodie Overstreet (Wake Forrest)

Chuck Leffew

Johnny Ashburn

Aaron Coleman (Cumberland University)

Probably quite a few I'm overlooking.

Seth Tamme is attending WKU and had a great true freshman season for the Hilltoppers. He'll be a key addition for years to come.

No, he was at TMC for a bit.

I don't think he actually made it to either one...
