I really don't know how to take this game. I still think JBS has a good team, and should still be the favorite in the 14th, but are they as good as most thought. Was the Mason Co. just one real good game.

Tough loss for JBS. But I think this tournament proves they must slow teams down, and if they don't, good teams will blow them out of the water, even Mason.

Inexperience and depth I'm sure was the difference. I'd take JBS' starting 5 to play with most but when depth comes into play and you look at a school with 100 kids k-12 that is a problem.

They will be even better next season. They have a pretty decent middle school team. Maybe there is a player or two that can help with their depth.

I was at the game, Tanner Jacobs had 18 pts and 12 rebounds. He also had seven assist, JBS had a very difficult time trying to handle Jacobs intensity.

Collins only scored 4 points? Wow! I would think a young man over 6'8" would get more touches than that! There are not many players that tall in the whole state of KY. Use all the weapons, that's the only way to beat the good teams.

 

You got to get the big man the rock and even out the scoring. Two players will never beat five players; at least five good players.

I remember watching Trinity get beat a few years ago by some school called Caverna that I had never heard of. Turns out that they had like a hundred kids but one of them was a 6'7" kid from Nigeria named Boris.

Why were you so quick to take offense at that comment? He mentioned nothing about Trinity's enrollment, only making the valid point that a school of June Buchanan's size has some issues with depth.

June Buchanan has just 9 kids in its entire senior class.

they have all been playing organized ball together since kindergarten, the same players playing together today.
