I believe the rule is that you have to sit out 1 year after Last playing varsity for a given sport, which that time frame hasn't been met. If khsaa is going to get rid of the rule fine, some consistency would be nice though!

That is the rule;  just like anything else loopholes can be found, information can be discovered, exceptions can be made.  Not saying I agree with it but that is the way it is.

I would imagine that spirit is pretty sharp and given the location is the same would probably figure it out.
