How does Ryle get ranked at 5 after losing?

Win or lose (especially against non-6A teams) the rankings are still based on Ryle vs. the teams below them and nothing about the close loss against CCH changes that.  

Don’t think Oldham should be above Madison Central.

I think Dixie should be a little higher too.

From 5 down could make arguments that other teams are better than others but have to put them somewhere as everybody can't be #5. In two weeks of playoffs this will pretty well be sorted out. I think this is most depth 6A has had in last few years which causes debate of ranking position. In past years the 6A rankings get dropped and crickets.

In my mind it is still crickets because we are living in a Big 3 world.

Outside of Male, Ryle is the only KY team that challenged St. X.

What makes no sense is throwing out where a team should be ranked with zero logic involved. 

To put Dixie at six: 

- Better than Daviess? Daviess is 9-1 with their only loss coming to 9-1 Owensboro... No.

- Better than Ballard? Ballard is 7-3 with losses to Male, Manual and Trinity... No. 

- Better than Bryan Station? Station is 9-1, only loss to Fredrick Douglass... No

I would like to see a round robin tournament with Daviess, Ballard, Station, and Dixie but it is hard to argue with your logic.

Pretty sure Ryle barely beat Dixie. CovCath barely beat Ryle and didn't move a spot Dixie did when they lost.
