Tigerpride94 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 I listened to press conference and Cardinals upper management said it was a difference of philosophy going forward and not how team was managed on the field.
CincySportsFan Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Must've been one heck of a difference.
gchs_uk9 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 And to think this could have all been fixed if he’d have won eighteen straight games during the season.

4 Quarters Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Wow, nice reward for getting them into the playoffs.
The Raven Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 He didn't last longer in the playoffs that Tony LaRussa. I think St. Louis is still mad he came back to manage another team.
cincyswords Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Reading some of the vague statements made by the Cardinals GM I am beginning to wonder if there was not something not even baseball related but maybe personality related? He made a comment about "the overall health of the club." That statement threw me off and makes me question the philosophical differences as if maybe they were how he was treating players or staff???
