#4 Trinity(0-6) will travel to St. Xavier (OH) (6-0) who is ranked #1 in Ohio and #16 in the Nation according to Calpreps.com ratings. Trinity is coming off a 35-28 loss to #2 St. Xavier. St. Xavier (OH) is coming off a 52-14 win over Elder(OH).

Trinity on offense was led by QB Brady Willis who was 13-19, 150 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception plus rushed for 61 yards against St. X. WR Colin Bratcher led receiving with 5 receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Trinity gave up over 300 yards rushing and 35 points.

The Bombers have won 14 in a row.

Can Trinity upset the Ohio power or does the Bombers cruise to their 6th running clock?

Trinity has been able to be competitive in every game this year, but I don't see that being the case this year. The Bombers are on a different level this year, and Trinity's Young team will be in for another tough, physical matchup.

Bombers 49

Rocks 14

I fully expect Trinity to approach this game with every intention of not just competing, but winning. That's the T standard. Unfortunately for the Rocks, this St. X crew is probably a lot better than the one they saw last week.  I think the Bombers unload the heavy artillery and win by five scores, minimum.

On the bright side, this will conclude the murderous stretch of Trinity's schedule. No disrespect intended to a good Ballard club, but there's some breathing room after this week.

Cincinnati St X has had 5 running clocks in a row. Their offensive coordinator is long time Trinity coach Andrew Coverdale. He maintains many friendships at Trinity and in Louisville, but this game can easily be the sixth running clock.

I thought it was interesting that Ohio running clock is 30 points and Kentucky is 36.

I actually feel badly for the young Sharmrocks, even though I know this 7 game stretch will be a distant memory once the post-season rolls around.  This game will be whatever Steve Specht wants it to be, a running clock isn't even in the debate...that is happening for sure.

Trinity will get nothing off their first team defense, and may get a couple of scores depending on how soon the Bombers go to the bench.  St. X will put at least 50 on the board, minimum.

Not a fair fight this year.

St. X was only up by 10 on Elder at halftime but dominated the 2nd half. Maybe Trinity can hang around for a half.

Based on the Louisville St. X games, Trinity and Elder are similar.
