They were without 6 starters on D and possibly all will be back by October. I like St. X chances if healthy. Male is still a great team and should be #1 unless beaten.

You could definitely make that argument.

I would say Male is still #1 because they won the head to head match up, but it's closer between 1 and 2 than many thought during the preseason. As mentioned, the St. X defense was playing without their 3 starting DL, OLB, and starting CB. They played well, especially in the second half, and if they're able to meet again I would expect the game to be similar to the regular season and come down to a final possession. But for St. X, they can't just assume there will be a rematch; they must continue to improve in all aspects to help their chances of meeting Male again.

I agree with pretty much all of this.  I think maybe Male might have looked past St. X and packed it in a bit after halftime thinking the game was over, especially with St. having almost 1/2 their starting defense out.  They won't make that same mistake twice with them.  Also, any rematch would more than likely take place at Male now since there's a good chance Male finishes higher in RPI if they were to meet again in the playoffs.  That will play a bit of a factor.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. There are a few other teams besides Male, StX and Trinity..... ?.... i thought i could finish without laughing but i was wrong ?
