Running clock 2nd half,  birds have big hopes heading into week 4.  Hope they stay grounded.  Have to realize who they have played this far..

Program is doing fine.  Week 1 vs NCC, contact tracing at school took out about 18 players for the Friday night game.  Roster is 56-60 Varsity, 36 frosh, 42 8th, and 40+ 7th.  Youth level numbers have never been higher.

That is great to hear. Those numbers are really solid. I’ve always thought highly of CC and wanted them to do well unless they play the birds haha

So Campbell had 18 players out against NCC and still won 21-0?

Bulk of them were Sophomores, but a few of them would have played some downs.

On a side note, CC's main running back is not real big, but don't tell him that.  I'm becoming a big fan of his fearless running.  He is quick and agile, but runs hard at contact.  Looking forward to watching him Friday.

This is awesome. Never knew they had this nice of facilities. Never been in the Locker room. Do they do this ever week or is it something the new Leader makes happen? To me it shows the program takes pride in the little things. Lets go Birds.

The facilities are top notch. Night and day difference compared to the old facilities which, to be honest, were disgusting and somewhat embarrassing. The new locker room and field house were completed around 2015 or 2016 or so. 

Andy Raaker is now doing all of the equipment stuff for HHS. He worked with Coach Sphire as the equipment manager when he was coaching the Lexington Horseman and he takes care of stuff like this for the program. Like you said, the little things! It is amazing how much they add up and set a program a part.

You're right, the facilities are very nice. Although, the old disgusting weight room produced a lot of state championships.
