June 14, 20215 yr With stadiums opening back up, what do you think are the most underrated and overrated ballpark type snacks? For me: underrated - pretzel with cheese - it is all about the fake cheese... it just hits different overrated - Cracker Jacks... I have never understood the fascination with them
June 15, 20215 yr Overrated - Cotton Candy (although I always buy some because my daughter loves it.). Also not a huge fan of nachos. They just get too soggy, too fast. Underrated - I agree with a pretzel with cheese. I'm also a sucker for a frozen lemonade.

June 15, 20215 yr Agree on Cracker Jacks being overrated. I would add popcorn too, even though I love popcorn. Most ballpark corn isn't very good IMO. Probably go with Nachos & Jalapeños for underrated. There's just something about them.
June 15, 20215 yr When we say Cracker Jacks, are we only talking about the kind in the box or just all caramel corn in general? I went to Simon Kenton for a football game in 2018 and bought a bag of the best caramel corn I have ever had.

Because I agree, there is some other caramel corn out there that is fantastic.

June 16, 20215 yr Overrated - Hot Dogs. I'll take a street vendor dog from just about anywhere over these gas station rollers they're serving in most stadiums. Under rated - Beer. Period. OVERPRICED? that's a pick 'em in my book.
