That's the "beauty" of gambling... If we're stupid enough to risk our money and get lucky, it pays off.

Lol

I had them to win the series but would have never made the bet when they were down 2-0.

What Booker is doing this season isn’t talked about enough.  He should be in the MVP conversation and is quickly headed in the direction of superstar.

Glad to see you on the Booker bus after 7 years. ?

He earned it.  I made him work for it but he earned it.  Lol.

I wonder if that Bearcat fan (not Walter, that other one) has come around on Booker yet?

I watched all of the Phoenix/Minnesota game last night. Both he and Towns went over 11,000 points for their careers.

Dude is a monster. There is a level of discreetness to how great he is. If he was doing what he was doing in one of the major NBA markets, he would be in the MVP conversation, but at best he will finish 5th (maybe 4th).

Crazy part: Booker is only 25 years old.

Booker has been outstanding, but he is still waiting his turn.

I do not have the statistics to back it up.  Plus, what makes the MVP is often different for each of us.

LeBron, Embiid, Giannis, and Joker are have pretty good seasons.

What about Luka, Trae, Ja, and Tatum?

No disrespect meant.  Booker is the real deal.  But, the NBA is loaded with great players.

DeRozen and SGA are two guys that have caught my attention this year.  Not MVPs, but just highlights how deep NBA talent pool is right now.

The league is incredibly deep from a talent perspective. It's crazy. My thing with Book is preference is often given to teams with the better (best) record. Phoenix has already wrapped that up with two weeks left in the regular season. Now you could argue he is not the sole driving force behind Phoenix's success, but they still played as the NBA's top team in CP3's absence since the All Star break. I would say first team all NBA is going to be Luka, Ja, Giannis, Joker, and Embiid. To me it breaks the spirit of the rule with three Centers. Ja, for me, is approaching the too many games missed mark to be considered.

Booker should have been MVP.  He was robbed.  It’s all good.  He’ll win Finals MVP.

He missed over 20 games and his team was better without him.  He should not make it over Booker.

That post was 2 1/2 weeks ago and I think Book will now take that spot. Still interested to see what they do with the three center conundrum.

Me too.  I’m guessing Jokic gets the first C slot.
