Vic Anderson/Super Southern 100 by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Despite this to be expected ill-begotten prediction by a Rock, in my opinion Vic will only shine brighter on the next level, when he has a better chance to demonstrate his receiving as well as running skills. Athletes with his talent level do not pass this way very often.

Congratulations Vic Anderson for representing Kentucky on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution' Top 100 in the South list. We are proud of you! :thumb:

Guess that newspaper never heard of Beaumont? Would have loved to have seen him make the list.

Congrats to Vic. He's only 5'9"? He looked taller than that.

If this list is accurate, this year's recruiting in the South doesn't bode well for UK or UL. Two are considering UL and only Vic is listed as considering UK (unless I missed someone).

I wish all the luck to Vic.

I hope he does great at the next level.

I do think he will do better at DB

Great job Vic. That is quite an accomplishment.

Congratulations Victor!

Also congrats to Vic on being one of Rivals.com 1,000 top recruits, Southeast region. Southeast region included 279 of the 1000 including the following 5 from KY: Anderson (RB), Slusher (TE), Hines (OL), Shepherd (OL), and Minnifield (DB). Congratulations to all and good luck in your futures.

Also, Joker Phillips (UK) was named one of the top 25 recruiters for 2006. Congrats Joker!

With a couple of exceptions, most of his friends and supporters, including the Barrett's, with whom he has lived since his sophomore year, believe Vic would have a better overall college experience, including a good football career, if he would stay closer to home. Hopefully, with all the breaking of coaches written contracts, Vic will not be pressured into keeping his verbal to WVU or made to feel guilty if he wishes to change his mind.

^ You all know that I am a fair asseser of talent...

No, I do not know that!

But I do know, I believe in assesments of football experts from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Rivals.com.
