Dontae Allen's mom is saying that he is returning to Kentucky for his sophomore season and he plans on working harder than ever:

Very pleased with this. I like Allen's upside. A full summer at UK, without injuries and COVID workout restrictions could be great for him.

Great news for sure.

Ware is back.

Jackson pursuing draft evaluation.

Good to see Ware back. He has potential and he has the potential to develop what this team had zero of - strength inside.

That is a formality for Jackson. He is gone. When you are a sure first round pick, you go.

I heard he wants to see if he will be a lottery pick. If he is a lottery pick, he is gone. If he is told he probably would not go in the lottery, that he would come back. I honestly do agree that most likely he leaves either way.

If he were to come back, I do think he would be the type of player that could possibly end up having a chance to be the number one overall pick if he were to come back.

Fail and Bail! What a culture Coach CAL has brought to KY.

Like it or not, that is the way all of college basketball is trending. With Cal most of the time it was players having success and being able to leave for the NBA. Now with the free transfer rule without having to sit out. That is going to be all of college basketball with players either leaving to go pro, or leaving to transfer. If a guy is a stud for a small school, they will look to transfer to a bigger school to get noticed. If a guy isn’t getting the playing time he likes at a bigger school, or coach is hard on them.  Then they will look to transfer to a new school.

So Cal or no Cal that is going to be almost the new normal for all school. In terms of constant roster changing.

Which by the way besides also 2013. What other years has the culture been fail and bail? Let’s not act like the fail part is something that has been going on  a lot.

One point to clarify. It’s not trending that way, it is that way. Some are under the illusion that kids hang around multiple seasons, but they are incorrect in that assessment.

That said, I think Boston would have greatly benefited by coming back to UK, but he is willing to take the risk.
