No question that Central's quickness has something to do with Rose Hill's poor shooting. I think that Rose Hill's size effected Central. The game was won and lost at the foul line.

That was one of the points I made. Central was 9-25 from the line in a one-point loss.

I can't speak for what happened 8-10 years ago, but what I do know is that Tim Fraley and his teams have showed up for every game against every opponent, even if it meant taking a 50+ point thumping just so an opponent could pad their stats. They have not tried to squirm out of facing their opposition no matter what the odds.

 

This past week in Louisville may not prove that the Hill belongs at the top of Cubster's poll, but it does prove that Coach Fraley and his young team are willing to tip it up and compete with anybody... and for that I respect them. :thumb:

Don't get your back up Jay. I never said anything about Rose Hill wanting to play. I don't know if Coach Fraley ever approached Russell, for all I know Rose Hill didn't want to play. I was just explaining how scheduling happens. Russell can play whoever they want I don't give a hoot.

How many players on the Russell team are RSCS - RHS?

 

How many were somewhere else before RSCS?

 

There are transfers, re-transfers, and free agents. With all the different teams, which uniform will they wear when they're inducted to the hall?

I'm not trying to stir anything up other than to point out that the gate swings pretty freely both ways, and it's silly for anyone to try to point fingers over it.

 

For what it's worth, I love all those kids and genuinely wish them the best... except maybe when they play the Hill... :lol: But after the game's over, I'm ready to cheer them on again. :thumb:

Just curious, no big deal to me. Basketball is not the reason for the season. I just hate it that the gate seems to hit some in the rear as it is swinging.

I know this is not the case for every kid in the region that has transferred from one school to another. But it is the case for most of them.

History is what you make it. I'd guess in the history of Russell, there has never, ever, ever, nor will ever be a player the caliber of the one that was here and currently at HHS. And frankly, with the direction that the RH bball program is headed, you may be better served to continue to hang your hat on your "fball" history.

I'd bet there has never been a player in the history of many schools as good as the one that you are reffering to. The rest remains to be seen.

I agree, and although the green-eyed monster occasionally rears it's ugly head, well, we enjoyed the trip to Rupp, advancing in the tournament and scoring well above 27.
