Unfortunately, FBALL, Rose Hill posters have spent too much time defending our past and present and, thus, have no time to whine. I am suggesting that defending is not necessary and a waste of time. I appreciate the tenure of your posts because they prove my point but I still reinterate the comments in my previous post.

I have know problem with the RH program or who plays for them, nor have I ever whined about it. But when you come on here and make statements attacking other area schools and then hide behind statements praising kids, that I have a problem with. Like I said, hello pot.

 

Why would you feel the need to defensive anyway?

I did not mean to start a fuss. I was complimenting Rose Hill and the way they have gone about building a successful program. They are good kids and could very easily win our Region. I'm not saying they are the best team right now, but they have some great young talent and a good coach. Maturity gained throughout the season and tournaments like they are playing in will only make them stronger.

I'm not defensive at all. My position is that if you have a problem with how we do things, you know what you can do with it. There isn't, nor has there ever been, anything for us to need to defend. I have been guilty in the past of trying to answer thinly and not so thinly veiled accusations. It was a mistake. The last sentence of my post number 89 best describes my thoughts on the matter. I would hope that other Rose Hill posters will adopt the same attitude. We owe no one any further explanation of anything.

I don't think there is anything to defend with regards to Rose Hill's program. In fact I never accused anybody of anything except talking out of both sides of their mouth. "I'm not being defensive but here are six more sentences of defense. If you don't like it you can do certain things with it". Thats paraphrased by the way.

 

My whole problem was the accusatory tone that you used toward the "neighbors" as you like to call them. And don't think any of that was aimed at any other RH posters.

If my "accusatory tone" toward "neighbors" is a problem for you, so be it. I stand by my previous statements without amendment.

The bottom line is they are "NO" program in the 16th region that hasnt got a player from another teams grade school or middle school program. Every parent or player has the right to do what is best for their child. Look around the region now they are several players that are at schools where they did not attend their primary schools. What bothers me is the big R word only comes up if you are a legitamate contender. Let it go . Families should be in a happy and positive enviroment. Sometimes you have to change schools to get that. Big deal. The families happiness is more important than winning a basketball game. As a parent you owe it to your kid to put them in the best situation you can and their happiness should be the #1 priorty.

Well stated, champion. You expressed it in a much kinder and less blunt manner than did I. Our message is the same. Our approach is different. Loving or not loving a "neighbor" is of no relevance.
