Proof Positive that on ANY given day one team CAN beat another.

My high school team did this same thing to them in 1987. They had won 45 in a row at the time.

Longshore completed 12 of 24 passes with three interceptions for 164 yards

They won with a QB having 3 interceptions?

Is that Longshore's brother that plays at Cal??????? He is a pretty decent qb..

I watched the Hoover and Prattville game. Hoover was just outmatched in this game.

Prattville Lions quarterback Larry Smith was named Alabama's "Mr. Football" Thursday at a banquet by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

I agree completely....Hoover never seemed to have any fire in them the entire game. I bet next year they will not say "I want my MTV!"

Also, Highlands didn't win a title either. It just goes to show that on any given day it can happen? Just having a little fun CovCath fan's.

Don't kid yourself; this old axiom is only true if the talent levels are fairly comporable.

I just watched South Lake win it again. They are the real deal McNeil! It will be interesting to see what happens to them next year. Coach Dodge took the North Texas college job. His son played a flawless 2nd half. He even puked, took the snap and droped about a 40 yard bomb for a TD!

Nate Newton's son was their TB and had one of the best High School TD runs I've ever seen. He broke about 7or8 tackles on the play.

Yes:thumb:

The only thing about this is that California does not have a true State Playoff for the Championship. The news writers picked who they wanted to play who.
